A distributor sells products through a market or channel; an importer brings goods into a country. One company may do both, but mentioning a product on a website does not establish either role. LeadPiko researches public company information to help you inspect possible matches.
Add your own website, describe the products you supply, select target countries and specify whether you need distributors, importers, wholesalers or another company type. Include important product categories and exclusions in your customer description.

This brief distinguishes the product, company role, country and intended customer. Start with a focused market and review the first candidates before widening the search. If a material or certification is essential, include it explicitly and check whether each source actually supports it.
What to check in each company result
- Role: Does the company’s own website describe distribution, importing or wholesale activity?
- Product: Does it carry your category, or only an adjacent product?
- Market: Is there evidence of a local business presence, rather than merely international shipping?
- Contact: Is a public business contact available, and what does that mailbox or phone number serve?
Open the linked sources. A directory can help discovery; the official company website is useful for checking identity and the company’s actual activities. Keep missing information as an unresolved question.
Export a shortlist with its evidence
Review supported matches and unresolved candidates separately. Export your selected results to Excel or CSV and keep the source links with your notes. A possible distributor fit does not establish an exclusive agreement, import capacity, buying interest or willingness to represent your products.
